Cancellation Policy:
We at Movee Cab [Miraturus Ventures Private Limited] understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we aim to provide a seamless experience for our customers. However, cancellations affect both our drivers and our operations. Therefore, we have formulated the following cancellation policy to maintain fairness for all parties involved:
1. No Cancellation Fee for the First Time:
We acknowledge that sometimes circumstances arise beyond your control. Hence, we offer a one-time exemption from cancellation fees for each customer account.
2. No Cancellation Fee if Trip is Cancelled Before Driver Accepts:
If you cancel your trip before a driver accepts your request, no cancellation fee will be charged. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to minimize inconvenience for both customers and drivers in such situations.
3. 20% Cancellation Fee Once the Driver Accepts and Starts Driving for the Pickup:
After a driver accepts your ride request and initiates the journey towards your pickup location, a 20% cancellation fee will apply if you choose to cancel the trip at this stage. This fee compensates the driver for their time and effort.
4. If Payment Mode is Cash on Delivery:
For trips booked with cash on delivery as the payment mode, any applicable cancellation charges will affect your wallet negatively. This means the cancellation fee will be deducted from your wallet balance, and it will be adjusted with your future trips.
5. Exceptions:
In cases of emergency or extenuating circumstances, we may waive cancellation fees at our discretion. Please reach out to our customer support team with details of your situation for consideration.
6. Cancellation Fee Deduction:
Any applicable cancellation fees will be deducted from your account balance or charged to the payment method associated with your account.
7. Transparency:
We strive to maintain transparency regarding cancellation fees. The applicable cancellation fee, if any, will be displayed clearly before you confirm your cancellation.

Waiting Policy
Purpose:
The waiting policy for Movee Cab aims to establish clear guidelines regarding waiting charges for passengers and compensation for drivers in situations where a passenger requires the cab to wait during their journey.
1. Definition of Waiting Time:
Waiting time refers to the duration during which the cab is stationary at the request of the passenger after reaching the designated pick-up location or during the journey as per the passenger's requirement.
2. Passenger's Responsibility:
Passengers are encouraged to minimize waiting time to ensure efficient use of resources.
Passengers should communicate their estimated waiting time to the driver before requesting the cab to wait.
Passengers are responsible for paying waiting charges incurred beyond the grace period.
3. Waiting Charges:
A grace period of 5 minutes shall be provided free of charge for waiting.
After the grace period, waiting charges will apply at a rate of Rs. 2/- per minute.
Waiting charges will be added to the final fare and communicated transparently to the passenger.
4. Driver Compensation:
Drivers shall receive compensation for waiting time exceeding the grace period.
Compensation for waiting time shall be calculated based on the waiting charges incurred by the passenger.
Drivers are entitled to receive a fair share of the waiting charges as per the service agreement.
5. Communication and Transparency:
Passengers shall be informed about the waiting policy during booking or before the start of the journey.
Waiting charges and compensation policy shall be transparently communicated to both passengers and drivers through the Movee Cab app and other relevant channels.
6. Dispute Resolution:
In case of disputes regarding waiting charges or compensation, passengers and drivers can contact Movee Cab customer support for the resolution.
Movee Cab shall investigate the dispute impartially and resolve it in a timely manner, ensuring fairness to both parties.
7. Review and Revision:
This waiting policy shall be periodically reviewed to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.
Any necessary revisions to the waiting policy shall be made based on feedback from passengers, drivers, and market dynamics.
8. Compliance:
Passengers and drivers are expected to comply with the waiting policy of Movee Cab.
Non-compliance may result in penalties, suspension, or termination of services, as per the terms and conditions of Movee Cab.
9. Effective Date:
This waiting policy shall be effective from 01.01.2024 and shall remain in force until further notice.
This waiting policy aims to strike a balance between the interests of passengers and drivers while promoting efficiency and fairness in the operations of Movee Cab.
